"Cassandra is a solution that includes software, statistical models and professional services." |
| After the system starts operating, our professional services make regular maintenance of statistical models to avoid their downgrading due to any changes in the environment reality; this is done on the basis of an annual service maintenance agreement entered into with customers. |

The Solution By constantly considering customer requirements since 2002 we have realized there is a growing need for the banks to lower the substantial amount of money freezed in the ATM network and optimize the costs associated with the administration of that ATMs cash and bank's treasures. These amounts and costs should be reduced while providing the best levels of customer service. At this point is that they are unable to continue performing the tasks of calculation and organization the replenishment of the network through such laborious manual tasks that are used at present. Today it requires the use of new generationtools, more efficient, corporate, based on sophisticated statistical models with the incorporation of all the variables that influence the market, which will automatically predict future activity for each ATM. This means for companies to make a "fine tuning" of business, resulting in a return on investment notoriously important since the first day of implementation.
Cassandra helps to minimize the amount of money available should be distributed throughout the network with consequent direct and indirect financial benefits, like to lower the cost of money fixed assets, increase productivity of internal and external staff dedicated to both the calculation and the replenishment of ATMs, also lower the insurance premiums of money into custody, transportation, security personnel, etc.
The large amounts of money that they could stop restraining, could be used for other needs of the business or investments that provide profitability, that means that not only could save money, at the same time they have the opportunity to generate more profits. Also able to plan that ATMs never stop giving a complete customer service at the lowest cost, improve the image of the institution in relation to the public, users and of course the shareholders. |
Cassandra Its function is to provide network operators and bank treasure administrators, a complete picture about performance information of each ATM, and a set of forecasts for systematic plan the most optimal cash reload several days in advance. The customer can select independently for each ATM the quality of service desired between 50% to 99.99% (eg 60, 70, 80 ... 99%, etc.)..
Cassandra is a comprehensive integrated solution that automatically conducts daily forecasts of possible withdrawals of cash from automatic teller machines, then generating a series of proposals for each currency/cashier where each forecast takes into account many variables, such as loading routine or overload preferences for each teller. Managing automatically all the required data minimizes the tasks of daily administration of the network. It is 100% integrated with the solution HP Non Stop - Base 24, which assures the customer that any change in the structure of the network of ATMs will be incorporated into the system quickly. However, Cassandra could also be implemented on various other technologies that are commonly used in the market. The system uses econometric models tailor designed for each teller-currency that are self-correctable and incorporate a system of calendar events for the forecast and also consider the "down time" for technical malfunctions or cashier's lack of cash. Cassandra, once installed, it behaves like an intelligent system that will incorporate data and learn from the daily activity recorded. It presents a series of HTML reports, illustrating the teller's activity, which can be published on a Web Server of the Intranet for financial management decisions and help the planners and executors of the replenishment of the entire network . These reports also collaborate in choosing an optimal time of recharge. Also, any information of the results and optimization proposals are saved into the database so they can be used in other systems of the network of ATMs or banks owners. Through the analysis of different levels of service that the manager can select and regarding the levels of withdrawal, it could be decided the minimum amount of money needed to provide a good service and never let the ATM without cash much more efficiently. |
